The Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum) is a popular, low-maintenance indoor plant. This prized for its glossy dark green leaves and elegant white blooms (actually specialized leaf structures called spathes). It thrives in low to medium indirect light, making it ideal for offices, bedrooms, or any room with limited natural sunlight.
Water when the leaves begin to droop — a natural “thirsty” signal . Then allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. It prefers higher humidity but adapts well to average home conditions; mist occasionally or place near a humidifier for best results.
Keep temperatures between 65–85°F (18–29°C), and fertilize lightly during spring and summer. As a bonus, Peace Lilies are excellent air purifiers, removing toxins like benzene and formaldehyde from indoor air.
